How to remove spectacle marks

How to remove spectacle marks

One of the main reasons why people shy away from using glasses is spectacle marks.

Prolonged use of glasses leaves ugly and stubborn marks on the nose. If not treated on time, these marks become permanent. Here are a few ways in which you can get rid of spectacle marks with ease at home:

Cucumber juice: Next time when you sit to get yourself a bowl of salad, take a few of pieces from that cucumber you are about to eat. Rub these pieces on the marks or you can even squeeze the juice out and apply it on the them.

Lemon juice: Lemon, as we all know it, has great bleaching effects.
Gently rub half a lemon on the marks for 10 minutes. Leave it on for a couple of minutes before washing it off with cold water.

Aloe Vera gel: This works miraculously on stubborn spectacle marks. Apply fresh aloe vera gel on the marks. Leave it on overnight and wash it off with cold water in the morning. You will notice significant results in a month after following this regime regularly.

Orange peel: You can pick up dried orange peel powder from the market or can even make it at home. Mix half a tablespoon of this powder with milk. Make a thick and smooth paste. Apply it on the marks. Leave it on for half an hour before washing it off.

Honey: Applying honey on the affected area will also help in combating the dryness that is caused after using glasses for a very long time. You can mix one tablespoon of honey with a few drops of rose water to get maximum results.
